After getting some questions regarding how I grade my cds that are up for auction, I decided to try and qualify what I mean when I list an Excellent or Very Good condition cd. All compact discs are guaranteed to play without skipping or tracking errors. As I can't listen to each one in their entirety, the grading is based primarily on a visual basis.
The jewel cases are in very good to new condition and are not cracked or broken when I mail them. When shipped by First Class or Airmail, the cases are wrapped in bubble wrap and then placed in a bubble mailer for extra cushioning. This should prevent damage to the cases from normal mail handling. I can't however be responsible if your local postal worker has a bad day and uses your package as a door stop.
